NY City Department for the Aging, New York, NY

The NYC Department for the Aging (DFTA) is the largest area agency on aging in the US, providing services to 1.3 million people over the age of sixty.  Most of these services are provided through its 700 contracted agencies, of which 335 are senior centers and the rest provide either case management or other specialized services.

IANet has designed and delivered a variety of training services to the New York City Department for the Aging, including design classes on how the internet can be a valuable tool for professionals in the aging field.
